COERR Kanchanaburi Organized Covid-19 Prevention and Waste Separation through Role Play, Song and Pictures

   During April – May 2022, COERR Kanchanaburi presented Covid-19 prevention through role play performance and singing, in order to raise awareness of children who participated in COERR Mobile Child Friendly and Safe Space, in Ban Don Yang and Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter in Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi Province. COVID-19 prevention session included proper hand washing, social distancing, eating home cooked food, using personal spoon, etc. Children followed the activity and enjoyed singing.

   For waste separation guides, they were given pictures representing different kinds of solid household waste that they would have to throw away in provided garbage bins for plastic, paper, glasses, metal containers, food remains, etc.

   All these activities had drawn much interest and cooperation from these young participants during each event.

   In Ban Don Yang, the activities were organized on April 16,19,20, 27,28, 29 with the total of 256 participants of 126 females and 130 males; and May 12, 21, 23, 25 with the total of 562 participants of 320 females and 242 males.

   In Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter in Ratchaburi Province, the events were held twice in May, with the total of 105 participants, consisting of 56 girls and 49 boys.
